It’s My Experience on how interviews can basically make your life living hell.

Why Switch from current Job?

So, first of all, you have to understand what’s wrong with your current job and that can be a hell lot of difficult so there are some points that you can consider before looking out for a job.

  1. What’s wrong with the current Job.
  2. There should not be any external factors that should be motivating you menas switch of another person things like that.
  3. Prepare yourself for the worst.
  4. Prepare for the disappointment.

Interviews (Worst Part)

Don’t take this the wrong way i personally love giving interviews but interviews are worst thing you can do to yourself if you are not mentaly well because the mental strain that comes with interviews is huge and you will find yourself facing rejections, incompetency and you might get rejected in the initial screening round. SO though interviews are every good way to test your skills but it can affect yourself in a negative way also and you might doubt that if it’s worth it or not. So all in all below are the things that comes in interviews :

  1. Rejections
  2. Feeling of incompetency
  3. Exhaustion

And below are the best part that you can get from interviewing:

  1. You will get to know what’s new
  2. You will meet great people
  3. You will get to know about things you are good at and areas’s you need to focus
  4. Job Offer 😍 (Best part)

Dilemma

Oh boy this is the hardest part that you have to face. Once you get a Job Offer you have to decide what you have to do with that. Either you can take that job offer and can say no , both of these will have huge impact on your life.

Resignation (If You take up the Offer)

This can be a pretty awkward process because you are betting on a lot of things. The minute you put in your resignation you will find an uneasiness through your body but that’s normal we as humans are afraid of change but at the end you weighed all the things before taking this step just remeber not to loose your calm and talk politely to your employer of why you took this step and why you see this as a great opportunity for yourself. If they are rude you already did the best thing of putting in your resignation but if they are nice remember that you made good connections.

Important Things through This Journey

Find yourself people you trust and talk to them about what are you thinking and interviews you have lined up. This have a hell lot of benefits :

  1. You will get another perspective
  2. You will get the support if you get rejected
  3. They can help you in getting more interviews
  4. They can help you prepare for interviews
  5. They can help you negotiating better offer
  6. They can make you see other aspects that you can consider.

This is my thoughts so far and believe me i have given my fair share of interviews i have been recieved enough offers and rejections that i know what you can go through interviews process.

Anyways i hope this can help you in some way do hit me up on linkedin if you want any help regarding this.
